DAMN...

that was awesomley fun and somewhat difficult. damned spiked ceiling...

399 [without beating it...]

awesome

the artwork and music were great, and it flowed very well (when i didn't suck). overall, it's fun and original.

ridiculously awesome.

at first, it appeared to be another stereotypical revamped take on retro platforming, but the music, story, and challenge make it worthwhile. level 10 isn't that hard, really...
183 deaths? damn...

pretty damn awesome

although i died about four times, flying is a little too slow at first, and sandbox mode raped my computer, being rape on toast is pretty fuckin' awesome. (seriously, you can get a continuous rampage mode!)

awesome!

although some jumps require pixel-perfect aiming, and the story isn't exactly engaging.... YOU CAN EVOLVE INTO A SATAN CHICKEN. hellz yeah! well-animated, atmospheric, and all-around fun. well deserving of a perfect ten.

awesome!

the sorta long time it took to fully customize the robot was toatally worth the most hilarious dance sequence EVAR. C3PO with duke nukem sunglasses airhumping FTW!

a damn good fighting system

but, in my opinion, the story was a little lacking. who are those party members who just pop up out of nowhere? if they had been given a backstory, and if the characterization extended beyond "he was in a war", this would've deserved the front page spot all the more.

a nice game

quite epic, as many have said (it's shadow of the colossus- what do you expect?) . awesome music, too, though occasionally drowned out by the water effects. i was a little disappointed by some of the monster designs (they bear little resemblance to the colossi at a passing glance, and a seahorse? really?) , and the lack of slight moral wrongness in the story (like how the colossi didn't attack you 'til you tried to kill it on ps2) , and the twist at the end seems a tad pointless. still, this is an interesting and compelling game, with interesting and compelling source material.

cool

a nice platform game with a decidedly (and somewhat inexplicably) creepy atmosphere, though i'm sure the symbolism is lost on me.

a very nice game at its core--

but enemies are way too difficult at its start-- what should've been a simple vermin killing activity got my first pet killed, and my hero down to 5 points of health after one sand beetle. maybe i was being too reckless, but the enemies seemed to hit critical far too often, as the sand beetles would hit for 3-20 points of damage. also, upon finishing the first mercenary's guild mission and collecting the slash attack, i found it to be far less effective than the poking thing i was doing with my stick weapon before it. also, the save feature seems to not be working-- though i haven't looked into it that much.admittedly, these are only problems i have found at the game's start (i got killed on the second mission at the mercenary's guild and decided to voice my opinion), but they are quite large. as i've said, i may just suck at this game or be unable to strategically plan attacks, but these are the problems that jumped out at me. were they absent, this would have been a magnificent game.

i have to pee.
